New Years Eve

A belated Happy New Year to you all!

We had a wonderful New Years Eve with all our friends from the Park. The evening started with  a Snack Buffet and games  at the Rec Hall. From there we  all  gathered at Lonnie and Janies place to visit while we waited for the   fireworks.

Some people were in under the shelter for a bit as it was a chilly evening.
There was a big table with more delicious food there. I had my first taste of black-eyed peas which  is a New Years tradition here. They were very tasty.

The firework show was sporatic until midnight and then the whole sky lit up.

The main firework display lasted at least 20 minutes and filled the sky from east to west.








It was a  great way to bring in the New Year.
